I went to the FAEA Conference this fall and attend a session on making various wrap dolls. These were cute as can be. It starts with a foam ball, pipe cleaners, and a pinch of hot glue to from the body then wrap, wrap, wrap. I can see the students enjoying the calmness of this activity, but the head gets a little tricky sometimes. It takes quite a bit of yarn to cover it and sometimes it doesn't stay were you want.
